Jennifer Umland – Director of Operations
Jennifer Umland began her career in the building and customer service industry 8
years ago accepting a management position with Diamond Vogel Paint in South
Dakota. Soon after, Allen Funk’s Wallpaper Design recruited Jennifer as a
Design Consultant catering to the new home industry. It was here where Jennifer
realized her true talent was in management, specifically customer service, and
accepted a position as the Director of Customer Service for The Glass Shop, a
prominent window manufacturer and installation firm in Fresno California. In
2005, ALY Construction hired Jennifer as the Operations Manager for the
Customer Service and Warranty Management Division thus responsible for over 500
single family and multi- family homes in both Northern and Southern California.
Under Jennifer’s leadership, ALY Construction received a #1 ranking, by
Scripps, for its excellence in Customer Service for the entire San Joaquin
Valley. Jennifer has played an intricate role in the creation and
implementation of the many programs within the Customer Service and Warranty
Management Division and serves as ALY Constructions leading expert concerning
SB 800, “The Right To Repair Law.” In 2007, Jennifer played a key role in
expanding the Customer Service and Warranty Management Division’s high
standards, and capabilities, thus providing these services to the open market
with the creation of Red Hill Service Company, where Jennifer serves as the
Director of Operations.
Mark Terry – Director of Business Development
Mark began his professional career at MOB Media, a full service-advertising
agency in Irvine, as a Project Coordinator. While at MOB Media, Mark managed
such clients as Concordia Homes, Inland Pacific Homes and ERA Real Estate
overseeing both their creative and media purchasing requirements. Prior to Red
Hill Service Company Mark was employed by K&B Electric in Santa Ana. At K&B
Electric, Mark assisted and managed new construction projects including TWR
Framing in Corona, REI in Escondido, ConAgra Foods in Newport Beach, Kohls in
Rancho Santa Margarita, Giant RV in Colton, Global Self Storage in Norco and
the Riverside Auto Center in Riverside. In an effort to expand his
responsibilities and overall scope of work, Mark accepted a position with ALY
Construction in Costa Mesa. As the Service and Program Coordinator for the ALY
Customer Service and Warranty Management Division, Mark expanded the divisions’
capabilities to include general construction, investment renovations and
facility maintenance. In 2006, along with Jennifer Umland and Mario Navarrete,
Mark assisted in the creation of Red Hill Service Company as a freestanding
entity of ALY Construction. Mark currently serves as Red Hill Service Company’s
Director of Business Development and oversees the firms Marketing and
Advertising efforts.
Mario Navarrete – Director of Customer Service
Mario Navarrete has worked in the Building and Property Maintenance Field since
1998. In just ten short years, Mario has risen to the top of his field as a
home improvement and property maintenance expert. Mario began his career as the
Maintenance Supervisor for California Armenian Home in Fresno. Prior to joining
ALY Construction, Mario served as the Director of Quality Control for the Dipro
Corporation. Mario’s true passion is home improvement and in 2005, ALY
Construction in Costa Mesa fulfilled that passion by recruiting Mario as the
Director of Field Services for their Northern California Single Family Home
Division. After the creation of Red Hill Service Company in 2007, Mario now
serves as the Director of Customer Service, thus overseeing the field
operations for the Customer Service and Warranty Management Division. In
addition to Mario’s field responsibilities, Mario continues to assist
homeowners with their home improvement needs as the host of “Ask Mario”
featured on the Red Hill Service Company website and the adjoining “My
